Workshops

Each month the CCAS holds workshops,the subjects and tutors are published one month in advance in the monthly newsletter, and on this website.

Non-members are also welcome, but space is limited, prior arrangement - with the Workshop Coordinator would be appreciated.

Marijke Greenway
Marijke has an impressive list of awards and commendations for her work and has been widely exhibited in Australia and overseas. She is a popular teacher and has tutored regularly for 12 years. Share her enthusiasm in these workshops.

Marijke will bring some objects for the Still Life but you are welcome to bring some flowers in a small vase qnd other objects to create your setup.

Medium: Oils
One precoated* 30 x 40 cm canvas per session (can be bigger if you want) Turps or Turpenoid or medium of choice Your favourite oil colours and brushes (at least one red, a blue, a yellow and white oils) Some rags or paper towels, Sketching paper, pencil
*Please precoat with a few coats of gesso, to be dry before coming to workshop. This makes for easier painting.

The Kincumber Life Drawing Group

Is very much alive and kicking, and welcomes new members of all grades of ability.
It meets at the Kincumber Arts Centre ( on the roundabout at the junction of Avoca Drive and Empire Bay Drive , UBD Map 98 L7 ) each Friday Morning.
