5 Lands Art Studios Art Trail was established with the aim of nurturing and promoting the creative arts for the benefit of both artists and the broader community. The 5 Lands Art Studios brings art to the community by providing a unique opportunity for art lovers and newcomers alike to meet artists in their own space, talk to them about their practice and experience the process of making visual art in a variety of forms. We have painters, sculptors, textile artists, printers and teachers to mention a few.
The next Art trail is Saturday and Sunday 4th and 5th November http://www.5landsartstudios.com/

A reminder that November 7th is Melbourne Cup Day.
Here are some of our favourite locations for painting the jacaranda
trees. For all three locations, the trees make colourfulsubjects.
It is hard to say just when the trees will be at their best.
They are so prone to the weather conditions. Last year the weather was against us and they finished flowers early. So let’s hope this year all will be perfect for us.
Suggestions for new locations are always appreciated.
If you haven’t been to our paint out mornings before, bring your choice of painting/sketching gear and come along and join in. There is no starting or finishing times, come and go as you please. Morning tea is at 10am and lunch 12Noon.
