The Christmas Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, 28th November at Diggers
@ The Entrance for society members.
We ask that you arrive at 12 noon for a 12.30 start.
The cost is $35 per head includes subsidised funding by CCAS (pay cash at the
door) and includes a two course meal.

Art Events, MeetingsMichael Galovic discusses his latest book, ICONS + Art
Michael Galovic has shown his artwork around the world.
Icons + Art was published in 2006 and features his work from 1990 to 2006. He has a studio/gallery on the Central Coast.
He began absorbing the ancient tradition of iconography as a child and started painting icons in his late teens parallely with his studies at the Belgrade Academy of Arts. Today, Michael Galovic engages himself
in a few parallel directions: traditional icons, contemporary religious and non religious art.

2018 – RIVERBOAT POSTMAN CRUISE – September Meeting
MeetingsThis will take place on 26th of September in lieu of Come, listen, talk at the Gallery.
Your committee felt a change to the usual monthly meeting would be nice and that it will be a social day for a change.
Details are:
Depart the Brooklyn Wharf at 10am arrive for 9.30am. Return
approximately 1pm.
Cost is $45 for Seniors.
Morning tea on arrival with freshly made Anzac biscuits.
Lunch served around midday. Aussie Ploughmans Plate
with ham, cheese, salad leaves, carrot, cucumber, tomato
and freshly baked Turkish bread roll. Glass of wine, beer or
soft drink with lunch, also water on hand. Gluten free options
are available, plus vegetarians catered for.
Let me know when you book.
Everyone to make their own way to Brooklyn. The brochure states a train leaves Gosford at 9am and one returns
1.45pm from Brooklyn.

We are visiting Noeline Millar’s studio at Norah Head in lieu of holding the Come, listen, talk meeting at the Gallery for 25th July, 1.30pm
Noeline’s address is 18 Kendall Crescent, Norah Head.

“Turning your artwork into print merchandise”
So you want to do more with your artwork? This talk will focus on turning your artworks into prints, cards, and other merchandise, working with fine art printers and the differences between printers, and how to present your print merchandise for sale.
Sam is a local artist who has completed a Bachelor of Natural History Illustration with Honours at University of Newcastle.
Sam favours carbon dust, pen and ink, pencil, digital illustration, and alternative photography techniques.
