Paintouts are an opportunity for artists to come together and paint at various locations around the coast plein air.
Bring your choice of painting gear or sketching gear, hat or umbrella, comfy chair. There are no starting (usually around 9am) or finishing times, come and go as you please.
Non-members of the Society and visitors are welcome.
Tuesday 1 October
Along the waterfront on the Entrance Road, The Entrance. Near the wharf and cruise terminal and the boat hire, opposite the El Largo Waters Resort.
Tuesday 8 October
On the waterfront at the end of Restella Street, Davistown. This location offers a variety of painting subjects with great views of Cockle Channel and the popular Davistown Boat Shed.
Tuesday 15 October
Bateau Bay Beach from the lookout at the end of Rushby Street. As well as the great view looking down onto Bateau Bay Beach, the natural bush near there has interesting subject matter for those who want something different.
Tuesday 22 October
The waterfront along Kurrawa Avenue, near the Goodayang Reserve, before the Volunteer Coastal Patrol, Point Clare. There are great views across Brisbane Water and down to Mt Pleasant at Saratoga.
