Paintouts are an opportunity for artists to come together and paint at various locations around the coast plein air.
Bring your choice of painting gear or sketching gear, hat or umbrella, comfy chair. There are no starting (usually around 9am) or finishing times, come and go as you please.
Non-members of the Society and visitors are welcome.
Tuesday 3 December
Pioneer Park & Cemetery, Albany St. Pt Frederick. Nice trees in and around the old pioneer headstones. Good subject for sketching. There is a pathway down to the waterfront with magnificent views of Brisbane Water. Depending on the tide, there is only limited places to set up your easel.
Tuesday 10 December
Lions Park at the end of North Burge Rd, Woy Woy. This is a big area, there are several places to paint from.
Tuesday 17 December
Along the waterfront at the end of Pine Avenue, Davistown. There are good views up and down Cockle Channel.
Tuesday 7 January
The waterfront at Gosford Sea Scouts and Sailing Club, Masons Parade, Gosford. There is plenty of parking here and great views out over Brisbane Water.
